Annual Meeting | Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana

At the Annual Meeting of Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana members gather to consider and prioritize actions that guide how we do what we do. The Board of Directors and other groups (including pre-elected delegates from across the council) meet to conduct required official business items for GSK. The 2025 Annual Meeting was held at The Foundry in Jeffersonville, IN on April 26, 2025 with nearly 400 attendees.

At the Annual Meeting we introduced our official 2024 Annual Report, looking back at the previous year. This report shares our visions and strategies, financial information for 2024, and even showcases our Gold Award Girl Scouts and their amazing projects. Mark your calendars for the 2026 Annual Meeting, to be held on April 18, 2026 at the Kentucky Dam Village State Park. The planning for this event is carried out by an important committee of volunteers, and you’re invited to join them. Interested volunteers should email board@gskentuckiana.org to let us know you’d like to lend a hand!

Check-In: 5:30 pm EDT
Event End: 9:30 pm EDT (Final Shuttle)

Parking (Drop Off and Parking Off Site):

Driver will drop off attendees and then drive to one of two locations and be picked up by shuttle (make sure to check the shuttle times below).
First Shuttle: 5:00 pm EDT
Final Shuttle: 9:30 pm EDT
- Location 1: Gilda’s Club, 2440 Grinstead Dr, Louisville
  Shuttle will run every 15 minutes starting at 5:00 pm EDT.
- Location 2: Private Client Services, 2225 Lexington Rd, Louisville
  Shuttle will run every 10 minutes starting at 5:00 p.m. EST.
For the safety of our guests and bystanders, if the line into the Girl Scouts parking lot backs up onto the main road (Lexington Road), we will ask that all cars drive to one of these two off-site parking locations and all attendees (passengers and driver) be picked up by shuttle until the line is at a safe level.

Friday Night Activities at the Louisville PLC will include:

- Norton Children’s Hospital Book Drive: Reading Their Way to Better Health
  - Bring new, non-religious books for birth to 18 years only to be donated to Norton Children's Hospital.
  - Free fun patch to first 100 participants.

  - $4.00 voucher for FIRST 200 Checked-In Attendees

- Girl Scout SWAP Meet
  - Item Drop Off (April 22, 23 and 24 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and April 25 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

No activities are designed for Girl Scouts under 12 years old. The adults bringing them will be responsible for their entertainment and supervision if they attend.

All parking will be on-site. There are plenty of parking spots available.
Find a free SWAG bag with goodies at your seat.

IMPORTANT: The Second Street Bridge from Louisville to Jeffersonville will be CLOSED on the morning of Annual Meeting. Plan your route accordingly.

- Information/Display Tables Open
- Dessert Silent Auction Fundraiser: Get out your baking gear and show us your stuff. Bake a cake, pie, cookies, brownies–whatever you do best, and bring it to Annual Meeting.
  - Be sure to make a list of any allergens to include with it.
  - Please choose items that can sit out without refrigeration.
  - Not a baker? Maybe check to see if your local bakery will donate a treat or purchase something delicious to donate.
  - Come to the Annual Meeting prepared to play. For $10 you will pull a number at the dessert table and see what dessert you get or pay extra for your choice. You can share this dessert with the Girl Scout sisters at your table or take it home to enjoy.
  - All proceeds will be given to the Joyce Seymour Leadership Fund to help our girls for many years to come!
  - This is in lieu of our regular silent auction.
