Step away from technology and spend a weekend learning new and unique skills. We are going back to basics to learn simple, foundational craftwork using the gifts of nature. During the weekend, we will join local artisans to learn how to spin wool into yarn, try our hand at weaving on a loom, explore various simple tools and how they work, and work together to build a fire and craft a meal. Spend the night in a tent and greet the morning with simple meditation and a meal together. Program is led and supervised by GSK staff, no adult presence needed. Girl Scouts will complete the badge requirements for their grade level's Camper and Trail Adventure badges.
Event location is Shepherdsville, KY.
