Girl Board of Directors

Call for Girl Board Members!
Are you ready to elevate your leadership experience? How would you like to influence the future of Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana with a special seat on our Board of Directors? Being a Girl Board Member gives older Girl Scouts the chance to have their voice heard and to make a difference across our council.
As a Girl Board Member, take part in the council’s democratic process. Attend board meetings virtually or in-person and collaborate with the awesome board members who are community leaders. Enjoy full privileges to speak and participate in all matters at board meetings (except for voting). It’s a perfect way to represent what Girl Scouts means to you. This is an official position and contributes toward an impressive résumé with the potential to earn a lifetime membership to Girl Scouts!
Interested Girl Scouts must currently be in 10th or 11th grade to apply. Girl Board Members serve for one year.
Timeline and Expectations:
Girl Board members who attend 80%, or more, of all Board meetings, plus the Annual Meeting, will be gifted a GSUSA Lifetime Membership when they become eligible under GSUSA rules (18 years or older) in recognition of their contribution and leadership.
