This day-long event offers badges for Cadettes, Juniors, and Seniors, but all Girl Scouts are welcome to come and work towards their Citizen Legacy goals. These workshops focus on becoming an engaged citizen by learning how government functions and understanding civic responsibilities.
Daisies will explore what makes Kentucky unique. Brownies will learn about our democracy, while Juniors and Seniors will gain insight into the inner workings of our government. Cadettes will examine civil debate and the importance of compromise, while Ambassador Girl Scouts will delve into public policy on multiple levels.
By attending, Girl Scouts can work on badge requirement for Inside Government (Junior-level), Democracy for Brownies, Finding Common Ground (Cadettes), and Behind the Ballot (Seniors).
