Session 1: Rubber Meets the Road
Speed meets science: Test how surface texture and weight influence friction and performance using die-cast Corvettes. Each grade level explores cause and effect through experimentation and build a car.
- K-5th grade (Daisy-Junior)
- Arrival time: 8:45 am
- Program start: 9am
- Program end: 11:30am
- Cost: $30 per Girl Scout / $15 per Adult
Session 2: Guided Tour and Influences of Design
Learn the history of Studio X, GM's top secret design studio, and get an art lesson from Former Director of Design for the General Motors Performance Car Studio, and Corvette Hall of Fame Member, Tom Peters.
- 6th-12th grade (Cadette-Ambassador)
- Arrival time 12:45
- Program start 1pm
- Program end 3:30pm
- Cost: $20 per Girl Scout / $15 per Adult
Space is limited to 125 Girl Scouts and 40 registered adults. Please limit adults to those needed to meet Girl to Adult safety ratios.
Girls should wear their vest or sash or be easily identifiable as Girl Scouts.
