Annual Meeting | Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana

The Annual Meeting of Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana is held once a year and includes all elected delegates. It provides one way for the membership to guide the Board of Directors and to take action that enables the council to implement our mission.

In addition to the elected delegates, we welcome all adult and girl members 12+ to join us. Over the course of the weekend you will see how the future of GSK is shaped, meet Girl Scouts from across the council, shop at the GSK Mobile shop, visit camp, and have fun.

On Friday there are various activities as well as a Town Hall where feedback can be shared with the CEO and Board Chair. On Saturday we hold a meeting where the business of the council is conducted.

Friday Night Activities at Camp Shantituck

Time: 6:00 pm—11:00 pm EDT (shuttles start at 5:30 pm)

Cost: Free
Who: Open to adults and Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts

Activities include:
- Town Hall (6:30 pm)
- Navigating Courageous Conversations and Creating A Sense of Belonging Workshop (7:30 pm)
- Songfest (9:30 pm)
- Display Tables
Sandwiches, chips, cheese cubes, carrots and celery, dip, and a chocolate and non-chocolate dessert. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options will be available
No activities are designed for girls under 12 years old. The adults bringing them will be responsible for their entertainment and supervision if they attend.

Optional Activity: Rock Climbing at Rock Gem Climbing Center

Time: 7:00 pm—9:00 pm EDT
Location: Rock Gem Climbing Center, Louisville, KY
Cost: $15 per girl and adult
Who: Open to adults and Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts
Spots: 50

Experience the excitement of rock climbing at Rock Gem Climbing Center's indoor climbing center. Rock climbing is an exhilarating sport that is increasing in popularity each year. Climbing is an incredibly fun activity for all ages and abilities.

Pizza will be served at this activity.
If adults are interested in volunteering as a belayer/adult helping hand, contact Connie Bell.
No activities are designed for girls under 12 years old. The adults bringing them will be responsible for their entertainment and supervision if they attend.

Location: Salt River Expo Hall, Paroquet Springs Conference Centre, 395 Paroquet Springs Dr, Shepherdsville, KY 40165
Cost: Free until March 15, then $15 per person

Registration is $15.
Registration includes breakfast and lunch. Breakfast will be a selection of miniature muffins, granola bars, seasonal fresh fruit tray, and oatmeal. Lunch will be an Italian buffet of fresh Caesar salad, warm garlic bread sticks, penne pasta with alfredo or marinara sauce, chicken parmesan, Italian green beans, and fresh baked cookies.

Parking for Friday will be at North Bullitt High School/Hebron Middle School, about 1 mile down the road from Camp Shantituck. Shuttles will start at 5:30 pm EDT and run until the activities conclude.

Parking for Saturday will be available at Paroquet Springs Conference Centre. It is within walking distance from the Sleep Inn and Suites where we have our hotel block.
