Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana is here to help make Girl Scouting easier for new leaders and those who have been in Girl Scouting for many years. New program packets and boxes are designed to enhance the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by providing hands-on activities that help girls earn badges, Journey awards, and patches. Girl Scout Multicultural Celebration Patch Series

The Girl Scout Multicultural Community Celebration Patch Series is designed to celebrate the countless contributions that diverse communities have made and continue to make in the United States. You can earn up to five patches and complete the circle over the course of the year! Girl Scouts of all levels and their leaders have plenty of activities to choose from to learn interesting new things and earn each segment of this fun patch.

Hispanic Heritage Month

September is Hispanic Heritage Month. “¡Yo soy una Girl Scout!” Fun Patch is designed to provide Girl Scouts and volunteers of all backgrounds the opportunity to learn more about the cultures of the 21 Spanish-speaking countries and territories honored during Hispanic Heritage Month. Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month or, as it is also referred to, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. Celebrate the cultures, traditions, histories, and countless contributions of Native American communities in the US.

February is Black History Month, an annual celebration of achievements and contributions by the African American and Black communities—a time for recognizing their central role in US history.

Girl Scouts Give Patch Program

The purpose of the Girl Scouts Give patch program is to help you understand the importance of supporting your Girl Scout Sisters through investments of your TIME, TALENT, and TREASURE. Learn ways to be a philanthropist, how to be a sister to every Girl Scout, why donating to Girl Scouts is important, and how to use things you’re doing every day to create good.

Program Boxes

Need a fun hands-on activity to do with your troop? Check out our One Smart Cookie and Goldieblox Mechanical Engineering program boxes! These boxes are grab and go and contain everything you need to run your troop meeting including written instructions.

The cost to rent a program box is $5 for one week.

Arrange to receive boxes through your Membership Experience Coordinator or the GSK shop.
