Camp Pennyroyal
3095 Girl Scout Road, Utica, KY 42376
Located about 15 miles south of Owensboro, KY, this 180-acre camp includes an 8-acre lake, three year-round buildings, platform tents, screened cabins, and primitive camping areas. The most centrally located camp in our council, it is an excellent camp for all age groups. Pennyroyal hosts Resident Camp in June. The rest of the year, the camp is available for Troop Camping and other programs.

Facilities
Beckley Lodge is an excellent meeting and dining hall. It will seat up to 150 comfortably. It is heated for year-round use and has modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. It is not used as a sleeping facility.
Helen’s Haven Troop house is attached to Beckley Lodge and sleep 40. It is heated and has bathrooms, showers, and kitchen facilities. Separate sleeping facilities for men are available.
The Loft cabin will sleep up to 24 and can accommodate 38 for day activities. The Loft has modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. Year round heat and air conditioning.
Happening House: Sleeps 24 and is available year-round. It is heated, has a modern a kitchen and bathrooms. It has a covered porch that runs the length of the building.
Seasonal Facilities: There are Platform Tent Units, Screened
Cabin Units, and a central shower house that is available from April
15 through October 31.
Bird Watching: Pennyroyal has a great bird blind and a bird watching program box for troop use.
Bike Trail Program: A bike trail introduction program is available for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors.
Orienteering: An orienteering course and program box is available for use at camps.
