Early Bird Registration
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should you or your troop consider early registration?
Besides the 2014 Early Bird Patch and $10 Cookie Dough, there are multiple reasons you should consider registering early!
- If registering through e-biz, leaders will have access to their troop information through the Troop Management Hub. Meaning, leaders can register all girls in their troop at once in one easy place!
- If re-registering members do not renew by September 30, 2013, they will not be able to be renewed in the Troop Management Hub. Instead they would have to register independently- save the hassle!
- Girls can use their cookie sale profits to pay for the registration fee- what better use is there of the troop money than a whole years’ worth of Girl Scout fun!
- One less thing to worry about in the back-to-school chaos!
What are the incentives for Early Bird Registration?
What are the dates that Early Bird Registration will take place?
Early Bird Registration will begin on May 1st, 2013, and end on July 15th, 2013.
Does my whole troop need to participate in Early Bird?
No! While we encourage troops to re-register their entire troop during Early Bird Registration, there is no minimum requirement to how many girls participate in this registration period. However, all girls in the troop who plan to return would need to register by the end of On-time Registration on September 30th, 2013. Girls do not need to be part of a troop to register during Early Bird.
When will I receive my Early Bird incentives?
Early Bird incentives will be dispersed to the Troop Leaders following the end of Early Bird. All incentives will go out the week of July 22, 2013.
Will I receive Early Bird incentives if I use eBiz to register?
Yes! We encourage all troops to use eBiz to register, and will ensure that all girls and adults who register this way during May 1st-July 15th receive their incentives just like a troop who uses paper registrations.
