The Older Girl Recognition Ceremonies are held to honor Girl Scouts who have earned the Gold Award, the Silver Award, and other prominent earned awards such as the Presidential Volunteer Service Award or the Congressional Award. The ceremonies also honor Girl Scout Ambassadors who are graduating from high school, including those who have been awarded our council's Jean Cole Scholarship.
