National Council Session 2023

The National Council Session/56th Convention of Girl Scouts of the USA will be held July 18-20, 2023, at Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida. After the convention, an additional event will be held just for girls: “Phenom by Girl Scouts,” from July 20 through July 22, 2023.

To serve as a Convention Delegate is a terrific honor. Delegates meet Girl Scouts from around the world, interact with the GSUSA leadership, and collaborate on decisions that impact Girl Scouts across the movement.

Who Should Apply: Both girls and adults are invited to apply to represent our council at this huge gathering. Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana is eligible to send five voting delegates. Girl delegates must be 14 years or older by the time of election at our council’s annual meeting.

Delegate Selection: The Committee will review applications and select a slate of potential national council delegates. Then, our national council delegates are elected at the GSK Council Annual Meeting on April 30, 2022.

Opportunity Knocks! Applications must be received by February 15, 2022. If you are interested in serving as a delegate, please complete the application below and submit it to boarddevelopmentcommittee@gskentuckiana.org.
