Bear Creek Aquatic Camp

4736 Barge Island Road, Benton, KY 42025

Located near Benton, KY, this 183-acre, American Camp Association (ACA) Accredited camp sits on the shores of Kentucky Lake and has a large lodge, troop cabin, and picnic shelters that are available year-round. Screened cabin units, a platform tent unit, and primitive camping areas are available from April 15 through October 31. This site holds Summer Resident Camp from July through the first of August and is available for Troop Camping and Day Programs the rest of the year.

Facilities Available

Honeybee Lodge Sleep 40 and is available throughout the Troop year. It has modern toilet facilities with showers and a large kitchen for large groups.

Penguin Palace Sleeps 17 and is available throughout the troop year. It has a furnace and a wood stove along with a modern bathroom and kitchen

Screened Cabin Units,  Platform Tent units and the Lakeview Pavilion units are available from April 15 through October 31 when Summer Resident camp is not is session.

Girl Scout of Kentuckiana require all users of our camps to have training. More information on required training is available here. To make a camp reservation click on the “Reserve Camp” button at the top of the page.
