Who should attend:
- Adult volunteers. Girl Scouts ages 16 and older may also attend and can facilitate upon becoming an adult member.
This one day program emphasizes beginning paddling skills for entry level adults who would like to be qualified to take girls canoeing on non-moving or slow moving sheltered waters and bays (Camp Pennyroyal Lake, Camp Bear Creek’s Bay, Barren River Reservoir Bays, or at Camp Houchens) at low to medium water levels.Please bring the following items: lunch, drinking water, hat, sunglasses & sunscreen. Shoes are required - may be water shoes, but no flip flops. You may bring your own pfd if preferred. You will get wet - come prepared.
