Calling all Volunteers to take the Area Boundaries Survey!
An Area is a geographic unit within the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. There are 26 areas within GSK, each having a Chair and a Vice Chair. How can we be more effective; are our current areas meeting the needs of the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana? This is your chance to influence these decisions. Click on the attached PDF, where you can fill out the survey and email back to firstname.lastname@example.org or take the survey online at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/J79MS6G or request a paper copy of the survey at 502-276-9729. If you cannot get the survey to open, cut the survey link, and place it into your search bar.
Area Associations are the governance units within Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. As part of the democratic process within Girl Scouting they provide opportunities for formal and informal input to and from the Board of Directors and opportunities for adults and older girl members to network, plan and share. They elect delegates and alternates to represent them in the council’s Delegate Assembly.
A group of volunteers has been asked to consider whether the current boundaries of our 26 area associations serve our membership as effectively as possible. This group has created a survey asking for your opinions. The survey is anonymous; we will have no way to identify you as an individual. Please give us your views. In order to have your opinions counted you must complete the survey by November 1. Please complete the survey only once whether on-line or on paper. This is the same survey as previously sent, we are giving members a second opportunity for input!
