100th Anniversary

We are excited to be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts in 2012—The Year of the Girl. 

Special programs and events for girls, for Girl Scout adults and alumnae, and for community members have been planned.  Click here to find event details.

We have a special patch that girls can earn while learning about the history of Girl Scouts and our council.  Plus GS Kentuckiana has a souvenir 100th anniversary patch for purchase and many other items available in the shop that will be keepsakes.  Click here to learn more about patches

We are eager to take Girl Scouting into the next century by ensuring its financial security.  A number of fund-raising events are planned that you may wish to be part of yourself or share with your friends. Click here to learn more about fundraising events happening in our council. 

Throughout the year, we have challenged ourselves to provide at least 100,000 hours of service to our Kentuckiana communities. Hours can be given by both girls and adults.  Click here for a suggested list of projects and additional information.
