Program and Learning Center

All offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holidays, Thursday November 27 through Saturday, November 29. We will resume regular office hours Monday, December 1. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!


All of the offices will be closed December 3rd and 4th for an All Staff meeting. Please mark your calendars.


Beginning today the Bear Creek Office will close at 5:30PM on the days it normally closed at 6:00PM. Thank you for your understanding.

Main Offices

Girl Scouts has rooms and areas available for rental to both Girl Scout and Non-Girl Scout groups. There is a troop house which is available for rental 7 days a week.  All other rooms and areas in the Program and Learning Center area available during business hours at a single cost.  Rooms and areas, other than the troop house are available during off-hours but at an increased cost.

Program and Learning Center Information for Girl Scouts

Troop House

The Program and Learning Center has an overnight troop house available for rental by troops and Girl Scout groups. It is a great home base for a trip to Louisville or a slumber party for a new troop. The Troop house sleeps up to 27 in the traditional Girl Scout mattresses on the floor fashion. It has a full kitchen, showers and private sleeping and bathrooms for two adults. Wireless internet access is available. TV/ DVDs and multimedia projectors are available for an additional fee. For reservation information, contact Pat Lanham at the Council Office, 888-771-5170.

Program Rooms

There are also meeting and program rooms available during Regular Girl Scout hours.

The Arts and Craft room seats up to 40 comfortably. The room has easily cleanable concrete floors, plenty of counter space and a large utility sink for cleanup.  

The Performing Arts and Bouldering room allow s for multiple functions. It can be used for plays, dancing and large group activities it seats 100 comfortably and up to 140 if really needed.  The bouldering wall is available in the same room and allow for girls to try their hands and feet at climbing.

The Girl’s Café is a great place to have a troop meeting or group gathering.  It is comfortable and seats 40.

01A, B, C Meeting Rooms are also available.   They are more formal meeting areas with carpeting, multimedia screens and Wireless internet for training and education.   These rooms each season 40 at tables.

Program and Learning Center Information for Non-Girl Scouts

Troop House

The Program and Learning Center troop house available 7 days a week for meetings and events. It seats 36 comfortably at tables and up to 50 in an auditorium style.   It has a full kitchen, and Wireless internet access is available to renters.

Multimedia equipment and other meeting support equipment are available for an additional cost.  Refer to Fees for Additional Equipment for more information.

Meeting Rooms

There are also meeting and program rooms available during Regular Girl Scout hours.  Meeting rooms are available outside of regular Girl Scout hours for an additional fee of $20.00 per hour.

The Performing Arts 010 allow s for multiple functions.  It seats 80 at tables and 100 auditorium style.  It is a great presentation room with a built in multimedia projector and large screen.

Kitchen:  A warming kitchen is available to serve all the program rooms.
