Who should attend: adult volunteers and Girl Scout Seniors/Ambassadors.
The Girl Scout Grade Level course will help prepare leaders to facilitate troop meetings. This course will guide participants through the age-appropriate national program portfolio, including but not limited to, the Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting, Journeys and resources, girl awards and council programs. A comprehensive approach to managing a Girl Scout Troop/Group including what it means to have “girl-led programming,” insight to Girl Scouting traditions including the girl uniform, discussion about age-appropriate activities and learning will all be a part of this course experience. Leaders/adults will receive a copy of the adult guide and the girl book for the grade-level appropriate Journey upon the completion of this session (one per troop). Prerequisites: GS101 and Pathway Orientation.
