Who should attend: Everyone!

 

Learn about the history of making maple syrup, visit Native American and 18th Century French American encampments at the National Maple Syrup Festival in Medora.

Older girl troops who volunteer in the children's activity tents next weekend will receive complimentary bus bracelets (limit 2 adults per troop) and also to have the opportunity to set up a cookie booth INSIDE at Medora Community Schools where the Festival begins. DISCOVER

Maple Syrup Harvesting & Sugarbush Guided Tours 9 AM – 5 PM,* Blacksmithing, Dutch Oven Cooking, Butter Churning, 18th Century French cooking, Pottery Barn, Face Painting, American Indian Artifacts,  Plein Air Artists (artists who paint outdoors), Wood Carving, Candle & Soap Making, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Live animal nature program, live music

(*guided tours often conducted by former Camp About Face campers)

CONNECT

Encampments: French American and Native American Sugar Camps, Pioneer Games,  Weaving a potholder, Salt Boiling Demonstration, Rope Making,  Children’s Activity Area, Native American social dance demonstration, Petting Zoo, Storytelling

Children 4 yrs. old and under:  Free!

Youth (5 to 15 yrs. old): $4.00

**Adults (16 – 64 yrs. old): $10.00

**Seniors (65+):  $8.00

**One free adult with every 10 Girl Scouts.
