The International Banquet is the International Club's biggest event. The Banquet features international dishes, lively music, and performances by the international and American students. The purpose of the banquet was to emphasize the diverse cultures and countries represented at Hanover College. The cafeteria is decorated to show the cultural diversity. Food from Germany, Mexico, China, Peru, Nepal, Ghana, Vietnam and the United States are examples of the some of the countries featured during the celebration. Current International students often cook their hometown food and do performances to showcase their cultures.
Cost:
Tickets for the event are $10 in advance, $12 at door, $5 for students. Girl Scouts purchasing tickets in advance $5 per student (student price)
