Join asc, the older girl planning board, for asc Teen Weekend!!!

Thank you for your interest in the asc Teen Weekend “The Hunger Games”. We’re still finalizing some of our plans, but we will be offering something for everyone! A lot of activities are included for everyone: themed meals, campfire program, archery, outdoor survival skills, and t-shirt tie-dying. Since we’ll only be at camp a few days, we cannot offer everyone everything. We will make every effort to place you in the additional program that you rank 1st, but slots are limited. Placement will be by lottery for all on-time registrations. These additional activities are:
High Ropes: The High Ropes Course is a team’s course moved off the ground and up high into the trees. A first response upon seeing the ropes is often with awe and "No way! No way you're getting me to do that!" The excitement and fear factor are high at the ropes course and so are the personal rewards. $15 per girl
Hiking: Program Staff will lead participants on hike at the camp.
Caving: Camp Stem has an onsite wild cave that participants will be lead through. Participants will be led through the cave by a guide who will help them safely make their way to the deepest part of the cave and then back out again! $15 per girl
Space is limited! We are asking for payment on these additional activities to keep the registration fee at a reasonable rate and only charge a premium for the courses that are completed. Payment must be included with the registration. Refunds for those programs that are not available will be made at camp.
Girls will only be given either high ropes or caving. We do not have time or placements to allow them to do both of these activities. They should still rank both activities, in case one fills up first.
Accommodations: We will be tent camping at this event. Kornhauser Lodge is available for first aid, programs, and meals. Please indicate on the form whether you will need a tent or have your own.
Adult Ratios: Juliettes are welcome to join us at this event. Any troop bring more than 2 girls must also provide an adult for safety ratios. Activity assignment, packing list, and other information will be emailed by April 16th.
Community Service: Our community service activity for this event is a canned / boxed food drive. Participants are asked to bring items for donation to a local food bank.
Questions: Please contact Melissa at 502-244-5737 or melissan38@hotmail.com.
