Young Women Lead Conference

On behalf of SOAR, a professional development program for high potential business women in Louisville, we would like to extend an invitation to a one-day leadership conference called Young Women LEAD (Leadership, Education, and Development) to high school girls.  This conference is our SOAR leadership challenge project to pay it forward and will be available to high school girls in the Louisville area and surrounding counties.   

SOAR, with the financial support of Toyota and other major Louisville companies, will be hosting the 2013 Young Women LEAD Conference on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resort in Louisville, KY.  The conference is designed to provide high school girls with a meaningful experience to help discover their innate qualities and strengths, and to challenge them to reach higher levels of personal growth and development.  Our keynote speaker, Dominique Dawes, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, motivational speaker, gymnastics coach, spokesperson and media analyst, will address the young women during a luncheon.  Additional programming for the conference includes breakout sessions for career planning, personal development, health and wellness, and other issues that high school girls are facing.   

This conference is becoming a huge success throughout several cities in the U.S., which will be the third year for the conference in Louisville.  We would like for your high school girls to be apart of this awesome opportunity.  You may ask, what is the cost to attend?  That is just one more fabulous part of this unique occasion.  It is absolutely free!  If you need funding for your school bus that will deliver the students to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resort, we can help.  Also, in addition to free admission and lunch, each girl will receive a t-shirt and gift bag.
