Date & Time
2/16/2013
Noon to 2:00
Sponsored by: StageOne Family Theatre
Who should attend: Girl Scout Juniors

Join StageOne Family Theatre for this tailored aMuse journey in a four-part dramatic workshop. Bring your aMuse workbooks and follow along as we activate the different roles we take on in our community, and illuminate our understanding of the actor tools: body, voice, and imagination. Each day of the workshop will explore how to reachout and speakout through storytelling to make positive changes in our community. The final day of the workshop will include a trip to StageOne Family Theatre’s performance of Jackie and Me. After the performance, Girl Scouts will have an opportunity to participate in a post-show discussion with the cast and crew. This experience will fulfill the aMuse journey requirements, allow participants an opportunity to explore their roles as actors, and offer examples of how theatre and storytelling can serve as a platform for community change.
