Striving for Silver
Date & Time
2/9/2013
1 pm - 3 pm
Sponsored by: Clusters 3 and 4
Who should attend: Cadette Girl Scouts and adult volunteers.
Striving for Silver will teach girls how to look around their neighborhood or school and find ways to make a change for the better. Girls learn how to follow their passion to find a project that meets a neighborhood, school or local community need (must be done beyond the Girl Scout community). Adults will learn how to guide girls to identify issues that they care about by exploring and developing their projects. It would be best to take a Grade Level course, become familiar with Journey books or review the Journey information resources on the GSK website prior to attending this course. Each individual (girl/adult) should register separately. Fee: none.
Registration deadline: 2/4/2013.
