Who should attend: Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts and adult volunteers.
Going for the Gold will teach girls how to follow their passion to find a project that meets a community need and can be sustainable after their involvement. The procedures for submitting Girl Scout Gold Award project plans and the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana approval process will be detailed and explored in this class. Adults will learn how to guide girls to find their passion and proceed with the programmatic outcomes listed above. It would be best to take a Grade Level course, become familiar with Journey books or review the Journey resources on the GSK Website prior to attending this course. Each individual (girl/adult) should register separately.
Fee: none.
